Postnatal Pilates

Even once your baby has been safely delivered, your body will be rapidly readjusting itself. An exercise program to assist your body to confront these new found challenges is a must- this is where Postnatal Pilates comes in. Help strengthen the body and mind for the new demands of motherhood and allow Pilates to help you regain your body shape, tone up, and re-strengthen muscles that have been weakened during pregnancy……
THE GOOD NEWS? If you wish, your baby can sit in his/her car seat or bouncy chair right next to your mat so no babysitter required. (Although if you’d rather have some ‘me time’ – That’s ok too, the choice is yours.)
POST NATAL PILATES CLASS - TUESDAYS 12:30PM, NUFFIELD HEALTH, EAST KILBRIDE

BOOKBUG RHYME TIME

Bookbug is Scottish Book Trust's Early Years Programme: Bookbug want every child in Scotland to develop a lifelong love of books. They want every child in Scotland to develop a lifelong love of books.
Bookbug aim to provide free packs of books to every child in Scotland and also run fun, free activities such as Bookbug Sessions, where babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their parents come together to enjoy rhymes, sing songs and listen to stories.
Bookbug Sessions are free, fun and friendly events for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their families to enjoy together. Each session lasts around 40 minutes and includes songs, stories and rhymes. There is usually no need to book, they take place in a very relaxed environment and are a fabulous opportunity to spend some quality time with your wee one.
Bookbug sessions are widely available throughout Scotland and are generally held in libraries or other community venues, so they are also a good way to meet other parents and children in your local area.
They also have lots of benefits for your child, such as building up their confidence and social skills, and will give their speech and language development a real boost!
For more information or to find out where your nearest Bookbug Session is taking place ask at your local library.

Little Nessies

At Little Nessies, we're all about giving you the skills and the confidence to teach your own little ones how to swim yourself. Our individually tailored lesson plans will show you how mixing fun and games with water safety will help develop your little one's natural swimming instinct.
You don't need to be able to swim, you just need to be able to stand in the water - our qualified instructors will always work within your capabilities.
Classes are split into 3 ages groups:
Baby Nessies
(up to 12 months)
A bonding and relaxing, multi-sensory experience that will help you both gain confidence in the water
Toddler Nessies
(12 to 36 months)
Teach them to recognise safety instructions and coordinate their arms and legs
Pre-school Nessies
(3 to 5 years)
Help them gain confidence as they swim independently and have the skills to stay safe
Our unique programme has been developed to ensure you and your little one have a great time whilst also teaching your little one water safety skills which could save their life!
