I have often dreamt of being chased but since becoming pregnant its all out James Bond action when I close my eyes. I have been a secret spy on a mission, hiding hostages and information from the enemy. In this recurring dream I am Lara Croft and can scale walls and knock out men twice my height with a round house kick Angelina herself would envy.
The sheep dream I have no explanation for!!! Two sheep on hind legs attacked me walking home from a pub...... protecting their young perhaps??
Having an affair with Joey from Friends..... I have to say I have had worse dreams and actively tried to get back to sleep just to continue it. Am I losing my identity as I merge into motherhood again?
Erotic dreams during pregnancy simply offer reassurance that you are still sexy, alluring and loveable. Joey from friends was all of these things when I dreamt of him!! I told him doing the dream I shouldn’t have been with him but he told me to relax and enjoy.
I always remember the dream of one of my ladies where on going for her scan they told her she was indeed having a Greggs Sausage Roll instead of a baby!! Another lady dreamt of a talking horse she met in a field who was giving her words of wisdom on caring for her baby.
During my first pregnancy I dreamt I was a mermaid. It was wonderful, so liberating and free, I was several stone lighter and the brunette version of Darryl Hannah. Water is apparently common. From puddles to swelling oceans, you may find that water is a recurring theme in your pregnancy dreams.
Your emotions may range from anxiety to excitement about the changes in your body and your life.
My latest dream was baking a cake. Now this is not something I have a talent for in real life!! I am baking/cooking a baby? What colour was the icing? Damn I can’t remember!!!!
Supposedly we don’t dream more, we just remember more as our sleep is more disturbed when pregnant. Yawning as I type…… Back to Joey please…
Till the next time
